CSCS Partner Scheme

The rules for the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards have changed, the Construction Leadership Council has agreed that trade associations, contractors, clients and government should specify and promote card schemes carrying the CSCS logo with no equivalents accepted.

ICATS was audited in October 2016 and the Construction Skills Certification Scheme have approved the scheme as a nationally recognised construction related qualification. Partner card schemes are based on the same standard as CSCS requiring the holder to gain an N/SVQ and pass the Health and Safety Test.

The new ICATS card with the CSCS logo confirms holders as suitably trained and qualified in Industrial Coating Application and they will not need another CSCS card to work on sites which require CSCS certification.

All new ICATS cards carry the CSCS logo and replacement cards can be obtained prior to the renewal date for a fee of £30+VAT.

With respect to the old CSCS Construction Related Occupation (CRO) cards please note:

CRO cards have not been issued since 31st March 2017.

CRO cards issued since 1st October 2015 expired on 30th September 2017.

CRO cards issued before October 2015 will remain valid until their expiry date.
